Introducing Chloe Campbell, born 27 January 2006
Chloe Campbell was born at 11:56am on 27 January 2006
Her parents are Lena Sanci and Peter Campbell.
Lena delivered Chloe by a natural birth at Frances Perry House in Melbourne, Australia after 7 hours labour. Chloe surprised us by arriving 3 weeks early at 37 weeks and weighs 5lb 13oz (2.65kg).
Our heartfelt thanks go to Dr Mark Umstad and the staff at Frances Perry.
Chloe is quiet and inquistive when awake, and a good sleeper so far. She has started breastfeeding today (Saturday 28/1).
The origin of the name Chloe is Greek and means "verdant and blooming".
Chloe shares her birthday with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (b. 1756), Lewis Carroll (b. 1832), Mikhail Baryshnikov (b. 1948) and Bridget Fonda (b. 1964). See 27 January for more information.

Lena, I am so impressed--natural childbirth method? You are amazing. Chloe is totally beautiful, something that isn't always true about newborns. Will write more separately. Love to your new family member.
